I opened the box and peered inside

Soft, sheer tufts of silk, each one wrapped

Individually

Lace trim, flowers ,red, black

White for holidays and special events

And polka dots.

I slipped the red ones on, luxuriated

In my brand new panties

Marked with an L, large and roomy.

Holding my ass

Like lover’s hands

I would think of all day.
